Danville Municipal Building | Façade & Energy

National Register of Historic Places, Building #95000896

Project Details

In Association with CJMW Architecture.

This project involved the renovation of the ca. 1926 Danville Municipal Building façade, including the refurbishment of ca. 1970 windows, select exterior doors, cleaning and repointing of historic limestone and brick, and repairs to the upper cornice.

Work was completed in four phases using an extensive scaffolding system designed to maintain safe access and egress for employees and patrons throughout construction.

Due to the scope of masonry restoration, a continuous and detailed inspection process was required to properly identify, document, and repair existing conditions. Jamerson-Lewis and CJMW worked closely together to streamline that process for the Owner, ensuring clarity and simplicity every step of the way.
