Project Details

Jamerson-Lewis Construction completed a 4,000 SF renovation of Chemistry Lab Suites 172 and 180 at the University of Virginia, modernizing critical laboratory infrastructure to support ongoing research and instruction. The project included new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems serving both lab suites, improving system performance and reliability. Suite 180 and 172 received a full interior renovation with new finishes, laboratory casework, specialized lab equipment, and high-performance fume hoods. The work required careful coordination within an existing occupied building to meet stringent laboratory safety and performance standards.
