Randolph College Martin Science Building Renovation Complete

We’re proud to celebrate the completion of the Randolph College Martin Science Building renovation!

Over the past two years, our team at Jamerson-Lewis Construction worked alongside Randolph College and VMDO Architects to transform this historic, 38,000-square-foot building into a bright, state-of-the-art center for science education. As part of this $23 million project, we modernized labs, classrooms, and collaborative spaces with the latest technology, updated critical systems, and preserved the building’s historic character while creating an inspiring environment for discovery and innovation.

A huge thank you to Southern Air, our design-build trade partner for the MEP systems, and to the more than 30 trade partners whose skill and dedication brought this project to life. From navigating tight site logistics to recycling nearly 72% of debris generated during construction, this project showcased true teamwork and perseverance. The result is a building that honors Randolph’s history while providing students and faculty the facilities they need for 21st century learning. We’re honored to have played a role in shaping a space where “science comes alive.”

Congratulations to Randolph College and everyone who made this project possible!
