Jamerson-Lewis Construction recently completed UVA Health’s MRI 3 Replacement project, preparing the existing space for a new Siemens 3T MAGNETOM Vida XT MRI system.
The project required careful coordination to update the imaging suite and its supporting systems while working within an active healthcare environment. Our team completed the necessary renovations and infrastructure improvements to help prepare the space for the installation and operation of the new equipment.
For patients and families, this project supports continued access to advanced diagnostic imaging in a space designed to feel more welcoming and less intimidating. MRI technology plays an important role in helping physicians identify health concerns, evaluate treatment options, and make informed decisions about patient care.
For UVA Health’s clinical teams, the updated suite provides the infrastructure needed to support modern imaging technology and continue delivering high-quality care to patients throughout the region.
Healthcare construction requires detailed planning, close collaboration, and a strong understanding of how each phase of work can affect patients, staff, and daily operations. Jamerson-Lewis Construction is proud to have partnered with UVA Health on a project that will support both its care teams and the communities they serve.
