Jamerson-Lewis Construction Breaks Ground on Pope Stadium Improvements at Virginia Episcopal School

Jamerson-Lewis Construction recently broke ground on the Pope Stadium improvement project at Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Early work is now underway as our team clears the site, removes existing field infrastructure, improves drainage, and prepares the base for the installation of a new artificial turf field.

Once complete, the upgraded stadium will feature new artificial turf, enhanced drainage systems, and stadium lighting to support practices, competitions, and evening events. These improvements will provide student-athletes with a reliable, high-quality playing surface while expanding opportunities for the school and surrounding community to use the facility.

Athletic facilities play an important role in the student experience, creating spaces where athletes can compete, teams can grow, and the school community can come together. Jamerson-Lewis Construction is proud to partner with Virginia Episcopal School on a project that will strengthen its athletic programs and support future generations of students.

Construction is progressing, and we look forward to sharing updates as Pope Stadium takes shape.
