Renovation & Addition

Project Details

This project consisted of a new addition and renovations to the Randolph College Michels Athletic Center. The new addition was located over a portion of the existing building where a roof terrace previously existed. The addition included offices, restrooms, a weight room, an aerobics room, supporting corridors, an entry lobby, an elevator, and a fire-rated enclosed stair.

The renovations included updates to the ground floor men’s and women’s team rooms, corridors, visitor team rooms, training room, referee room, existing stair enclosure, and alterations to existing mechanical systems for the locker and shower rooms. The first floor renovations included raising the pedestrian bridge walking level, renovations to the first floor gymnasium, the addition of an ADA platform lift, and roof alterations.
