In May 2017, Jamerson-Lewis Construction was awarded the VSHE (Virginia Society of Healthcare Engineers) Teamwork Award for our work on the Centra Health’s E.H.R. Offices.
The teamwork award recognized Jamerson-Lewis for the following:
“for outstanding teamwork while making valuable and lasting improvements the the Strategic Readiness of Centra Health’s IT Department. During the transformational construction to renovate a 1960’s era Facility into the new Information Technology Building, members of the team embraced a compressed schedule and created a newly renovated facility in just eight short months. The project presented profound challenges and displayed superior professionalism throughout the project. Our mission in Healthcare Facilities Management required a constant, steadfast devotion to those we serve in our facilities and those in the community. Each member of the team can be justifiably proud of this teamwork award.
Jamerson-Lewis was proud to work with Centra Health on this project and then be nominated by them for this award. We are honored to be selected by the VSHE’s committee to receive this award and hope to continue our hard work in the healthcare community.

I have worked with William Cook of Jamerson Lewis Construction, Inc. on several construction projects since 2008 where I served as the Project Architect. Throughout the time I’ve known him, he has shown me time and again that he has excellent project management skills (very thorough, a team player and has a positive attitude). In summary, due to his ability to coordinate closely and effectively with the owner, architect, and subcontractors I highly recommend William as a Project Manager for your projects.
